D3STΛB1LIZED (written in “l33t” gamer language and pronounced 'destabilized') are a concept band, a DJ outfit, an agitator for social change, and a portal between the present and future, with a uniquely anonymous post-apocalyptic aesthetic. Most accurately described as "a video game musical on stage”, the intergalactic D3STΛB1LIZED live show is powerfully complete with UV outfits and LED masks that create the illusion of a holographic netherworld. Recalling the vivid imagery of Call of Duty, League of Legends, Transformers and Star Wars, the archetypal conflict of good vs evil comes to life in performances that rail against the inner demons of the individual to find liberation. The D3STΛB1LIZED project has been lighting up the overlapping spectrums of Electrocore and Complextro, taking in influence from Breakbeat, Drum n' Bass, Dubstep, EDM and Electronic Rock. Conceived in Thessaloniki, Greece on December of 2012, the debut of D3STΛB1LIZED became a reality at Athens’ Schoolwave Festival in 2013, with a dynamic performance that was included in the festival's aftermovie, alongside live sets by Knife Party, Skrillex, and The Prodigy. 2014 kicked off with a bang, through a headline live performance for Schooligans in Athens on New Year's Eve, and a support slot with the legendary British band Senser. That summer the band appeared at the European Music Day festival, and a clip of their live show was selected for broadcast on one of Greece's biggest television channels. Mega TV; later that year D3STΛB1LIZED headlined Schoolwave Festival 2014, and released the collaborative track "Crafts Over Delta" with UK producer Airskii. The profile of D3STΛB1LIZED and their DJ project 'SOUND C-STEM’ has risen exponentially over the last two years. The DJ outfit performed rapturously received sets for the eGaming Xhibition by IGN Greece in 2014 and 2015 (with the latter featuring DJ Sona, the virtual DJane of the popular video game 'League of Legends'), as well as several appearances at the Red Bull Mobile DJ Booth. At the same time, the full band's theatrical and transformative signature set of live versions of tracks by UKF, Monstercat, Ultra Music, Spinnin’ Records and more, combined with video game and film elements, has transfixed crowds across Greece and beyond. Reflecting their growing interest in original compositions, D3STΛB1LIZED also released their first original track '"Destabilizer"; it debuted on Radio Arvyla, one of the most popular TV shows in Greece, and garnered high-profile support from the likes of R3HAB, Borgeous, Dirtyphonics, Mikro & Marsheaux. Now located in London, D3STΛB1LIZED plan to intensify their multi-faceted, multimedia quest while piecing together their debut album.
